What is life coaching?
Gain motivation and clarity to achieve what’s important to you with the help of your own private coach. Your goals could range from exercising more often, to improving your productivity at work or to slotting more personal time into your day. Rest assured that Scott Morgan is a university-qualified coach, is a member of the International Coach Federation and his methods adhere to the International Coach Federation’s Code of Ethics.
What is life coaching or high performance coaching?
A two-way, collaborative process, which can help you achieve something important to you. This could include health and fitness goals, work achievements or life aspirations. You may also find that what you want to achieve becomes more specific or evolves during the coaching process.
Coaches are not experts in most fields – rather they have expertise in asking the right questions and facilitating positive change within their clients. Some people describe themselves as life coaches, executive coaches or similar – the methods and techniques are largely similar.
What is coaching not?
Coaching is not about advising, directing or mentoring. It is not a replacement for therapy.
How does life coaching differ from counselling?
Coaching is a goal-oriented process. Counselling, on the other hand, might take any number of directions, especially where strong negative emotions are involved.
Is life coaching confidential?
The same confidentiality that applies to counselling applies to coaching. The standards of confidentiality that Happier and Healthier Coaching adheres to can be found in the International Coach Federation’s Code of Ethics.
Who can benefit from life coaching?
Anyone who has something they want to achieve, move past or be challenged on.
How much does life coaching cost?
Each session is $120 per hour (including GST).
