Knowledge Isn’t Power

Knowledge isn’t power. Rather, it is the only part of the equation.

Too many people (especially smart ones) run around accumulating knowledge. This can often be the solution for tasks like how to use certain functions on your new mobile phone or how to fix a computer problem.

But when it comes to our lives, this isn’t necessarily the case. Knowledge is only part of the equation.

The other component is action. If you don’t act on the new information, what good is that information? If you are forever researching how to invest in property but never go ahead with it, what good does that do?

When it comes to being healthier, chances are you already have all the information you need. Messages like Live Lighter and Go for 2 Fruit and 5 Veg are probably not new to you. Yet they are habits you can start doing which will, by themselves, improve your overall health without the need to read books about special diets, research secret miracle food combinations or learn about metabolism. You just need to act.

Who would you rather be – someone who accumulates knowledge or someone who takes action?
